La Genziana: bedroom with two large 120 x 200 antique wrought-iron beds, old bedside table, and nineteenth-century wardrobe and chest-of-drawers; the upholstery is floral and multi-coloured. Large bathroom with bath, washbasin, bidet and WC. Second bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC. The villa is surrounded by a large garden with oak trees, with direct access to the swimming-pool at the bottom of the lawn.

How to arrive:

From the A22 Brennero-Modena motorway take the A1 Milano-Roma. Exit at Bologna, and take the A14 Bologna-Bari as far as the Cesena exit, then take the E45 for Perugia and turn off at Città di Castello. Continue along the SS 221 in the direction of San Secondo-Trestina, and about 4 km after the bridge over the Tiber which leads to the centre of Città di Castello, turn right and follow the directions for Valdipetrina. After 3 km, you come to a church and a group of houses; turn right here onto an unmade road. After 200-300 metres the road passes between 2 large farmhouses, and about 300 metres further on you come to the entrance to Il Pozzo on the right, with La Querce further ahead, and finally, again on the right, the entrance to "Il Querceto".
