The “La Casa di Mara” farm holiday establishment is located in the plain just below the town of Magione, in the Casenuove area, surrounded by the wheat fields and gentle hills of the Trasimeno Nature Park. La Casa di Mara offers its guests everything they need for a truly unforgettable vacation, doing everything it can to make them feel at home and in the company of friends.

You’ll know right away that you are in a special place; you will be very near to Lake Trasimeno and the main towns in Umbria (Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio, Orvieto), and less than 100 km from the most important art towns and cities in Italy (Rome, Florence, Urbino, Siena, Pisa), which are easily reached with the E45 expressway being only 5 minutes away.
Far from the traffic and chaos of the city, you will wake in the morning to the singing of birds and the greeting of the light breeze that caresses the surrounding fields.
All of the large outdoor space is open to the guests, with a swimming pool, beach umbrellas and deck chairs for sunbathing, and playground for kids. There are picnic tables and benches for meals outside, and also a wood-burning oven and barbecue grill which guests may use.
There is also the fresh produce from our vegetable garden and orchard, including tomatoes and aromatic herbs.
You can also try our delicious homemade jams, made from organically-grown fruit, and typical local products such as olive oil, honey, cheese, and pork products such as sausages, salami, and prosciutto.
