On their 23-acre estate where grain is the main crop and there is a beautiful park and suggestive waterway, Bernardo and Cristiana Pellegrini offer elegant and comfortable rooms as well as a small apartment in their 18th century villa.
Corte Pellegrini also has riding stables, making it possible to go for pleasant excursions on horseback along the banks of the Adige river or among the lovely Veronese hills; in summer guests can relax in the swimming pool or in the verdant park which is ideal for children’s play. An interesting display of farm tools from the past will take you back in time.

Corte Pellegrini is just a few minutes from the centre of Verona, where other cultural visits are available in addition to the theatrical and lyrical seasons. Other important artistic cities are also nearby: Mantua, Vicenza, Padua, Ferrara, Treviso, Trento. By car or train it is possible to reach Venice in little more than one hour, and don’t forget beautiful Lake Garda which is only 35 km away.

The Corte Pellegrini agritourism farm offers age-appropriate programs and activities for children and youngsters. The activities, which can be arranged with the instructors, aid in learning about rural life and agricultural practices with the intent of using the country setting for its didactic potentiality and for the rediscovery of the ways of the past.
The farm’s organic production is based on the cultivation of grains, the raising of fowl and the riding stable. The farm yard is surrounded by native plants, some of which are centuries old, and in addition to horses, there are also rabbits and goats. There are the following courses and laboratories to choose from:
Farm discovery: guided visit of production from the seed to the harvest – two different approaches (organic and conventional). ‘Pawlonia’: a tree for clean energy. Meet our animals: observation, care and feeding.
Grains: wheat, barley, oats, corn – from the plant to the flour. Grind wheat using a small stone mill. Make bread and cook it (with the aid of our workers) in our old, wood-burning oven. The history of the mill.
The Ancient Court: the old house and the activities of the court – a journey into the past through the farm tools of past times. A visit to the ‘Brolo’: fruit trees and aromatic herbs. Observation of a centuries-old mulberry for the raising of silkworms.
Nature and Agriculture: the story of a small seed – the life cycle of plants from the tree to paper; the differences and uses of agricultural tools. Visit to the vegetable garden to learn how to recognise garden varieties. The compost pile for the natural cycle. Practice planting.
A journey in time to discover the life of the past: for middle school students (September to February). A guided visit of the museum of farm tools from the 19th and 20th centuries for the cultivation of grains, followed by an interesting discovery of household traditions and uses through ancient utensils as presented by experts. This particular program is held afternoons only at a cost of € 4 / person (no charge for teachers).
